Comments:
Luna is an energetic and athletic 40lb (smallish) female. She loves walks, her chewing bones and ripping up empty Amazon boxes. When she's not playing she is content to lay by your side and cuddle or snooze. She is crate-trained and happy there with a bone to chew.

She loves people, especially men. She walks nicely on a leash and knows "sit" and "come". She shows signs of not being correctly socialized around dogs; she is not aggressive; however, she comes on too eager to meet and sniff, which is generally off-putting to small/nervous dogs. Her behavior around dogs indicates a lack of recognizing other dogs' body language and boundaries. This can be taught however, it will take time, consistency, and patience.

She wasn't taken care of properly before rescue and had skin issues when she came to us. Those are cleared up now, but if her deep nose rope and tail pocket are not cleaned daily, the problems will return. She will also need weekly medicated baths (with a readily available OTC shampoo). She is a very cooperative girl with grooming and baths.
