Comments:
Charlie was surrendered to a shelter who contacted us as they knew she’d be better suited to foster life. She is a bit overweight and has stiff joints so weight management and joint supplements are key! Charlie has severe chronic dry eye and will likely stay on 1-2 drops twice per day for management. She’s currently being treated for a staph infection on her back and has flank alopecia. It seems as though she’s had quite a few ear infections as her canals are pretty tight—regular cleaning and staying on top of infections are important! We’ll get her all tuned up and then hopefully find the perfect retirement home for her!

3/10/21--Charlie despises the vacuum and can be a little bit bossy when it comes to her humans or toys. When wearing her harness, she'll do whatever you need her to. Charlie is a great snuggler and sleeps nicely in bed with you. Surprisingly, she doesn't snore much! Charlie takes pills and treats gently. Her vision is improving but she remains on two eyedrops twice/day. She has had her ears packed for a third time and we're hoping her chronic infections will FINALLY be under control. Charlie is ready to start meeting possible forever families!

5/21/21: Charlie is finally cruising and enjoying her spring. Her foster mama has a splash pad set up for her and she things she is the queen of the world with it! Like many Bulldogs (and their people!), Charlie did start Apoquel for her spring allergies and gets a medicated shampoo once a week. She’s doing great with her two eyedrops for dry eye.

Charlie is ready to find her furever—her ideals require soft places to lay, a garden and/or pond so she can assist in maintenance 😂, spots to sunbathe and dogs in the house who realize she is the Queen Mother.

Interested adopters need to travel to Lincoln/Omaha with all family members and resident dogs to meet Charlie. Her adoption fee is set at $200.
