Hiya, my name is Mary and I am the sweetest, most loving little bully girl you will ever meet! I came to Southern California Bulldog Rescue from a shelter because I was born with a medical issue called Spina Bifida. To make a long story short, that means that my spine didn't form properly while I was growing in my mom's tummy. Because of that, my hind legs are a little weak (though I walk and run and jump like a normal bulldog!) and I wear diapers.

I hope that doesn't scare you off, because let me tell you...diapers are surprisingly easy to manage! My foster mom says that it actually takes less time to do my potty routine than my doggie siblings who potty outside on walks. And I promise you, I will NEVER have an accident in the house, and I will repay you in snuggles and kisses!

I love other dogs and cats and would be a wonderful pet to have around kids. I love to spend time with my family, go on walks around the neighborhood, and play with my toys! I am a little nervous when I meet new people, but when I'm safe in my own environment, I am very silly and so much fun to be around!

If you've read this far into my profile, please reach out to Southern California Bulldog Rescue to learn more about caring for a special needs bully like me. I promise it's not as hard as it sounds, and Rescue will help you every step of the way. I may need a little extra care than most bulldogs, but I am a very special girl and I make up for my shortcomings with lots of extra love!
