SPECIAL NEEDS: As of 4/15/20, Bear is almost one year of age. He is a rambunctious little bulldog and will require owners familiar with training, not only young dogs, but young bulldogs! Bear needs near constant attention due to his tiny trachea and inclination for aspiration when he gets excited or if he eats too fast. His adoptive parent needs to be familiar with signs of aspiration and financially prepared to care for him should aspiration become an issue.

Because of Bear’s spirited attitude, and his brachycephalic constraints, Bear should be the only dog in the home. Bear needs lots of attention to help him understand boundaries and expectations, as well as, aspiration tendencies. Bear's adoption is contingent on multiple training sessions with our trainers in San Dimas. With a good start from you in formal training, and health & safety put first, Bear will be a lifelong best friend and companion.
