Comments:
Brody is looking for a new home to live out his golden years. Brody is a 9 year old boy whose family had trouble caring for him now that his needs have increased and the family is experiencing some changes. Brody is a laid-back guy that enjoys long naps. He is good with other dogs, cats and older children. He has some skin issues from fleas which have been treated. His most serious problems are his ears and eyes. His ears have been and are severely infected and after four months of treatment our vet thinks that the only option is a total Ear Canal Ablation. He is scheduled for exam and possible surgery at UT later this month. His chronic, untreated dry eye has impaired his sight. However he navigates well using what vision he has and a highly developed sense of smell. Now that he is being cared for he is responding with joy to his new surroundings. He has a gentle temperament, is very mellow and is becoming very playful, constantly waging his tail. He is housebroken. His ears will need daily medication and his eyes will need to be cleaned daily and treated with meds. He has been brought UTD on all his shots.
Because of the surgery he will need to be close to Knoxville for follow up appointments.
