9/25/2019–Update from Major’s foster: Major!!!! So far Major has been AMAZING. Tried and tested at my house. My son for the most part leaves the dogs alone and Major isn't over interested in Lucas. The brief interactions Major and Lucas have had include Lucas brushing him as he does the other dogs, giving Major treats and throwing the ball for him. My nervous nelly AKA Sophie has barked at Major and tried to instigate something when Major was playing tag-a-war with me. Major just ignored her. He does enjoy playing tug-a-war, fetch (short distances) and short walks. He is not food aggressive, doesn't mind having toys/bones taken away from him. He still pants a great deal, which I attribute to just needing a bit of time to settle into a new environment. He is not kennel trained and DOES NOT want to be kenneled. He will bark (NON-STOP) if you close him out of the bedroom or even the bathroom. He wants to be present where you are. I do wonder if he is used to sleeping in the bed with his previous owner because he sometimes acts like he wants to sleep on the bed with me. I haven't given in. He does not chew, 100% potty trained and very well mannered. Only health issues I have observed is minor licking at paws, and some dry red eyes.

10/1--Major continues to do well with other dogs and is indifferent to cats.
