SPECIAL NEEDS - Hi, my name is Pixie and I'm a very lucky 5 month old girl. I was part of a breeder's litter and I was born with some disabilities. As I got a little older, my breeder realized my limitations and took me to the vet to be euthanized. Luckily one of the volunteers from SCBR was there and told the vet's office they would take me in! Now, I'm loving life in my foster home!

I have spina bifida, which means I'm incontinent and have to wear a diaper. My ability to use my back legs is limited and my legs will continue to weaken over time. I don't let my disability stop me though! I still make my way around my foster home just fine and don't mind my diapers. I absolutely love the other dogs in my home but I would really like a forever home of my own. My home needs to have no stairs and kids 12+. I also need someone home most of the time to be able to change my diapers every few hours. Do you fit the bill? Apply for me today!
